Obverse description A female figure depicted kneeling to the left, rendered in archaic style within the confined flan typical of small silver denominations. The figure is shown in the act of tossing astragaloi (knucklebones), a scene associated with games and divination in the ancient Cilician cultural milieu. The relief is bold given the small module, with the figure occupying the majority of the field. No legend or inscription is present. The design reflects the distinctive local artistic tradition of Tarsos during the early fourth century BC.
