| Reverse description | A large retrograde epsilon (Ε), the archaic initial letter of Heraia (ΗΡΑΙΑ), occupies the center of the field within a recessed square incuse, itself subdivided by an inner square frame in a mill-sail or meander pattern typical of early Arcadian coinage. The incuse square is deeply impressed and sharply defined, reflecting the characteristic reverse technique of hand-struck Peloponnesian silver coins of this period. The surrounding flat border is plain and unadorned. No additional legend is present. |
