Obverse description Facing bull's head rendered in high relief, with prominent curved horns, deeply modelled muzzle, and large circular eyes on either side. The musculature of the neck and forelock are carefully articulated, conveying a vigorous archaic style characteristic of early Phokian federal coinage. The head is centrally positioned within the irregular flan with no legend or border.
