| 裏面の説明 | Deep incuse square divided into four quadrants by raised linear ridges forming a mill-sail or quadripartite pattern, typical of archaic Greek hammered coinage of the Thraco-Macedonian region. The incuse impression is sharply struck and recessed, with a rough, granular surface texture within the compartments. No legend or additional device is present. |

Dikaia was a small Thracian coastal settlement, its coinage output modest and its political independence short-lived — the city was absorbed into the Athenian-dominated Delian League sometime in the mid-fifth century. This obol belongs to that narrow window when the mint was still operating autonomously, likely before Athenian tribute assessments effectively ended independent local issues. SNG Copenhagen 790 is among the few documented specimens, and the type remains poorly represented in major collections.
