Obverse description Beardless head of Herakles in three-quarter right profile, wearing the lionskin headdress, the scalp and open jaws of the lion visible atop the head. The facial features are rendered in a compact archaic-to-classical style characteristic of Arkadian civic coinage of the mid-fourth century BC. The field is plain, with no inscription.
