| Obverse description | Central field features a cross pattée with globular terminals at each arm, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A small pellet appears at the center of the cross. The surrounding border bears a partial Latin legend, largely indistinct due to the crude hammered execution and irregular flan. The overall style is characteristic of Crusader copper coinage from the County of Tripoli, with bold but roughly rendered relief. |
