Obverse description Facing crowned bust of King Wenceslaus IV depicted in low relief, rendered in the crude hammered style typical of late 14th- to early 15th-century Bohemian small coinage. The king's face is presented frontally with visible hair curling at the sides beneath a simple crown. The surrounding legend reads WENCEZLAVS REX, partially legible around the periphery of the irregular flan. The overall striking is characteristic of the period's artisanal die work, with uneven surfaces and natural flan irregularities.
