The design is executed in the conventional late Roman nummus style with a beaded border encircling the field. The reverse legend SECVRITAS-REIPVBLICAE is disposed around the figure in two segments. The exergue contains the mint and officina mark (SMHA or SMHB), identifying the Heraclea mint. |
