In the left field, a Latin cross surmounted by a rho (Chi-Rho monogram variant), serving as a Christian symbol of imperial authority. The mint mark appears in the exergue, indicating the Antioch workshop and officina. The reverse legend SALVS REIPVBLICAE is distributed around the periphery within a beaded border.
