| Obverse description | Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Theodosius I facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Theodosian period. The effigy displays the characteristic pearl diadem secured at the nape, with visible paludamentum (military cloak) over cuirassed shoulders. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend in Latin characters within a beaded border.
