Obverse description Draped bust of Flavia Maxima Theodora facing right, the hair elaborately coiled and dressed, adorned with a simple necklace and plain imperial mantle. The effigy is rendered in the late Constantinian style, with fine facial modeling characteristic of the period. The encircling Latin legend identifies the subject as Augusta.
