| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Severus II as Caesar facing right, viewed from the front, with the laureate wreath clearly rendered in raised relief over short-cropped hair. The cuirass is elaborately articulated with overlapping pteryges visible at the shoulder, and the paludamentum (military cloak) is fastened at the right shoulder. The portrait conveys the tetrarchic style characteristic of the Londinium mint, with bold, somewhat schematic facial features and a short beard. The encircling Latin legend reads SEVERVS NOBILISSIMVS CAES, affirming his rank as Caesar within the Tetrarchy. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The standing figure of Genius, nude save for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder and a modius atop the head, is depicted facing left in a commanding frontal stance. In the extended right hand Genius holds a patera as if in the act of libation, while the left hand supports a cornucopiae, symbolizing abundance and divine favour upon the Roman people. The field is plain and uncluttered, and no mintmark appears in the exergue, a feature consistent with the earliest emissions from the Londinium mint under the Tetrarchy. The reverse legend, divided as GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI, encircles the type in crisp Latin capitals. |
