Obverse description Laureate bust of Maximinus II facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style with bold, high-relief features typical of the Tetrarchic period. The emperor's head displays a carefully delineated laurel wreath, with neck and lower truncation visible. The surrounding circular legend reads GAL VAL MAXIMINVS P F AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait conveys imperial authority through its strong, slightly stylized facial modeling characteristic of the Cyzicus mint.
