Obverse description Laureate head of Maximinus Daia facing right, rendered in the late Tetrarchic style with strong, angular facial features and a short beard. The emperor's hair is depicted in fine engraved stripes beneath the laurel wreath, with a prominent ear and characteristic heavy jaw typical of Diocletianic-era portraiture. The circular Latin legend runs clockwise around the effigy within a beaded border. A small flan crack is visible at the left edge of the coin.
