| Description du revers | The Genius of the Roman People stands facing left, depicted as a nude youth wearing a modius (grain measure) on his head and a chlamys draped over his left shoulder. He extends his right hand to pour a libation from a patera, from which liquid occasionally flows, while his left hand bears a cornucopiae. A value mark appears in the left field and an officina letter in the right field, with the mint abbreviation ALE inscribed in the exergue. The composition adheres closely to the standardized Tetrarchic Genius type established under Diocletian's monetary reform, with the reverse legend split across the field. |
