| Beschrijving keerzijde | A hexastyle temple facade depicted in frontal view, its pediment ornamented with acroteria and flanked by trees or foliage on either side, evoking the Templum Romae or the Basilica of Maxentius in Rome. Within the colonnade, a figure — likely Roma — is seated on a throne to the right, while a standing male figure, possibly Maxentius himself or a genius, approaches in a gesture of veneration or offering. The reverse legend CONSERV VRB SVAE (Conservator of his City) encircles the design. The mint mark AQS appears in the exergue, identifying production at the second officina of the Aquileia mint. |
