| Reverse description | The personification of Victory is depicted advancing to the left in full figure, rendered in flowing robes in the conventional late Roman allegorical style. She extends a wreath in her right hand and carries a palm frond in her left, both attributes emblematic of military triumph. The legend VICTOR-IA AVGG is disposed on either side of the figure within the field. The exergue bears the mint mark of the Lugdunum officina. The design reflects the standard Victory type widely employed across Western mints during the reign of Magnus Maximus to assert dynastic legitimacy. |
