The youthful effigy displays a cuirassed or draped shoulder visible at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads LICINIVS IVN NOB CAESAR, running clockwise around the portrait within a beaded border. |

| 裏面の説明 | Mars, depicted nude and advancing to the right, carries a transverse spear in his raised right hand and bears a trophy across his left shoulder, conveying the martial virtue of the imperial armies. The bold reverse legend VIRTVS MI-LITVM DD NN, split either side of the central figure, proclaims the valour of the soldiers of the two Augusti. In the exergue, a dot-framed mintmark identifies the Thessalonica mint and its fifth officina, rendered as •TS•∈•. |
