Reverse description Jupiter, nude save for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder, stands facing left in a commanding pose. In his extended right hand he holds a Victory on a globe, while his left arm leans upon a long sceptre topped by an eagle. To the left of the deity stands an eagle bearing a wreath in its beak, and to the right crouches a bound captive, emphasizing Roman imperial dominion. Numerical notation appears in the right field, and the mint signature with officina designation is recorded in the exergue.
