Reverse description A Roman camp gate depicted facing, featuring three turrets above a battlemented wall, with closed double doors at the base and multiple courses of stone blocks rendered in careful horizontal layers. Individual officina and control letters are distributed across the fields. The Latin legend VIRTVS AVGG, split across the field as VIRTV-S AVGG, proclaims the valor of the two Augusti. The mintmark, incorporating the prefix R for Rome followed by the officina letter, appears in the exergue.
