Reverse description Jupiter Conservator standing facing, head turned to the left, nude but for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder, holding a Victory on a globe in the right hand and a sceptre or spear in the left hand. A small eagle with spread wings stands at Jupiter's feet to the left, and a captive or bound figure may be present at lower right. The reverse legend PROVIDENTIAE CAESS reads around the upper field, with the officina letter A to the right of the figure and the mint mark SMN in the exergue, denoting the first officina of the Nicomedia mint.
