| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed bust of Licinius I facing right, depicted with strong, mature features characteristic of Tetrarchic portraiture. The laureate wreath is rendered in fine parallel lines, and the cuirass is visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP LICINIVS P F AVG, beginning at the lower left and running clockwise around the bust. The portrait displays the compact, stylized aesthetic typical of early fourth-century imperial coinage from the Siscia mint. |
