Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Licinius I facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style with pronounced three-quarter perspective typical of the Tetrarchic and early Constantinian period. The radiate crown is clearly articulated with outward-pointing rays. Paludamentum is fastened at the right shoulder over the cuirass. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP C VAL LICIN LICINIVS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as Imperator Caesar Valerius Licinianus Licinius, Pius Felix Augustus.
