| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, portrayed as a youthful, half-naked male figure wearing a mural (turreted) crown upon his head. In his right hand he holds a patera over an altar, symbolizing sacrifice and divine favor, while his left hand grasps a cornucopiae, emblematic of abundance. A field mark divided by a horizontal bar (T/F) appears across the fields to either side of the figure, and the officina and mint abbreviation appear in the exergue. The reverse type is characteristic of the Tetrarchic coinage struck at Treveri under Licinius I. |
