| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Licinius I facing right, rendered in a robust, slightly stylised late Roman portrait style with a short beard visible along the jaw and chin. The laureate wreath is rendered with fine detail, its ties falling behind the neck. The draped bust truncation is visible at the lower edge of the coin. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery, partially cut off by the irregular flan. |
