To the left, an eagle stands with wings displayed, holding a laurel wreath in its beak — the traditional Jovian attribute symbolising divine favour and military victory. An officina letter appears in the right field, while the mintmark SIS is inscribed in the exergue. The composition conveys the Jovian theology central to Licinian imperial propaganda during this period. |
