| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Empress Helena facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound with a pearl-studded diadem, rendered in the refined late Constantinian court style. The portrait displays finely engraved parallel ridges across the hair above the brow, with a distinctive curled lock descending before the ear. The bust is mantled in imperial robes visible at the shoulder, conveying regal dignity. The encircling Latin legend reads FL HELENA AVGVSTA, divided on either side of the effigy.
