Reverse description Victory advancing left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm branch over her left shoulder, emblematic of Roman military triumph and civic security. Control marks and officina symbols appear in the left and right fields. The exergue contains the officina letter and mintmark ΓSISC or ΓSISCϟ, identifying the Siscia mint and third officina. The reverse legend SECVRITAS-REIPVBLICAE, meaning 'The Security of the Republic,' encircles the design, a common reverse type of the Valentinianic period.
