| Obverse description | Two confronting busts shown face-on, representing the Byzantine emperors Heraclius (elder, at left) and Heraclius Constantine (younger, at right), each wearing a chlamys and an elaborate crown surmounted by a cross. A cross appears in the field above between the two effigies. A degenerate pseudo-legend, imitating Byzantine epigraphy but without legible meaning, encircles the design. The style is a crude provincial adaptation of the Byzantine follis prototype, characteristic of early Umayyad Arab-Byzantine transitional coinage from Spain and North Africa. |

| Reverse description | A cross potent mounted on three graduated steps occupies the central field, directly imitating the reverse type of Byzantine folles of the Heraclian dynasty. The steps are rendered in a simplified, somewhat degenerate manner consistent with provincial hammered coinage. The field around the cross is largely plain, with no legible legend or mint mark visible, reflecting the transitional and imitative nature of this Arab-Byzantine issue. |
