The portrait is rendered in the austere, powerful Tetrarchic style characteristic of late Roman imperial coinage. The obverse legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan within a beaded border. The effigy conveys imperial authority through its rigid, frontal treatment of the cuirass and the bold, angular facial features typical of the Diocletianic period. |

| 背面描述 | The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, depicted as a youthful, nude male figure wearing a modius (grain measure) on his head and a chlamys draped over his left shoulder. In his right hand he holds a patera extended over an altar, and in his left hand he bears a cornucopiae, symbolising abundance and divine favour. The reverse legend is divided on either side of the figure, and no mintmark appears in the exergue, a characteristic of early Londinium nummus production under RIC VI 23a. |
