Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate and cuirassed bust of Delmatius facing right, wearing paludamentum (military cloak) draped over the left shoulder and segmented armour visible at the chest. The portrait is rendered in the late Constantinian style, with finely striated hair beneath a laurel wreath. The encircling legend FL DELMATIVS NOB CAES runs clockwise around the bust, identifying the subject as Flavius Delmatius in his capacity as Caesar.
