The circumferential Latin legend reads FL IVL DELMATIVS NOB C, identifying him as a nobleman of Caesar rank. The portrait is rendered in the late Constantinian court style, characteristic of the workshop at Cyzicus during the mid-330s AD. |

The mint mark SMKA appears in the exergue, denoting the first officina of the Cyzicus mint. |
