Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Dalmatius (Flavius Delmatius) facing right, rendered in the late Constantinian style with finely striated hair beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait exhibits strong, youthful features characteristic of the junior Caesar's coinage. The encircling legend reads FL DELMATIVS NOB CAES in Latin capitals, identifying him as most noble Caesar. The field is smooth, and the overall relief is moderately high, consistent with struck bronze nummi of the period.
