Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Flavius Dalmatius, Caesar, facing right, rendered in the late Constantinian imperial portrait style. The laureate wreath is clearly articulated, with the drapery and cuirass visible at the truncation. The obverse legend FL DELMATIVS NOB C encircles the effigy, identifying him by name and junior imperial title Nobilis Caesar. The portrait exhibits the characteristic linear engraving style of the Thessalonica mint in the mid-330s.
