Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus facing left, depicted holding a spear diagonally across the field and a shield visible at the lower right. The effigy displays a youthful portrait consistent with Crispus's status as Caesar. The surrounding legend CRISPVS NOB CAES runs clockwise within a beaded border, identifying the subject as a Noble Caesar.

Reverse description A military standard (vexillum) inscribed VOT XX stands centrally in the field, flanked by two bound captives seated on the ground — one to the left and one to the right of the standard's base, their postures conveying submission. The reverse legend VIRTVS EXERCIT, proclaiming the valor of the army, runs along the upper periphery within a beaded border. The mint mark TT appears in the exergue, denoting the second officina of the Ticinum mint.
