Obverse description Right-facing laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus, Caesar, rendered in the Constantinian military portrait style with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath and articulated cuirass visible at the truncation. The legend encircles the effigy along the periphery, separated from the bust by a plain inner field. The portrait conveys youthful authority befitting Crispus's status as Caesar under his father Constantine I.
