| 裏面の説明 | Within a laurel wreath tied at the base, the vow inscription VOT X is displayed in two lines at the centre of the field, with a crescent symbol placed immediately below. A twisted rope border encircles the wreath, and the mint mark ST appears in the exergue, identifying the second officina of the Ticinum mint. The surrounding legend, reading DOMINOR NOSTROR CAESS, honours the Caesars as Lords of the realm. The overall composition is a classic Constantinian votive type commemorating the tenth anniversary of Crispus's reign. |

Crispus, eldest son of Constantine I, was at the peak of his political standing during this issue — recently celebrated for his decisive naval victory over Licinius at the Battle of the Hellespont in 324. Within a year of that triumph, Constantine had him executed at Pola, likely on the instigation of his stepmother Fausta, who was herself put to death shortly after. The Ticinum mint, active through this volatile period, ceased striking in the late 320s as Constantine consolidated production elsewhere.
