| 背面描述 | A laurel wreath occupies the central field, enclosing the votive inscription VOT / X arranged on two lines with a pellet separating VOT and X. The outer border bears the legend CAESARVM NOSTRORVM around the full circumference, reading clockwise. The mint mark T*AR appears in the exergue, identifying the Arelatum mint. The wreath is rendered in fine detail with tied ends at the base, a classic Constantinian reverse type celebrating the decennial vows of the Caesar. |

The VOT X legend — a vow for ten years of rule — was struck for Crispus at Arles between 322 and 323, roughly three years before Constantine had him executed at Pola in 326. The precise reason remains disputed: ancient sources variously implicate accusations brought by Fausta, Constantine's second wife, who was herself killed shortly after. Crispus never completed a decade of power, making the fulfilled-vow reading of these coins grimly ironic.
