Obverse description Bare pearl-diademed head of Constantius II facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style with a string of pearls forming the diadem. The emperor's effigy is depicted without drapery or armour, consistent with the small nummus coinage of the period. The encircling Latin legend reads DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG, identifying the emperor as Dominus Noster Constantius, Pius Felix Augustus.
