Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style characteristic of the mid-fourth century. The portrait displays a pearl diadem and paludamentum, with the emperor's features stylized according to the workshop conventions of the Arelate mint. The surrounding Latin legend is interrupted by the bust and reads CONSTANTI-VS P F AVG. The flan is irregular, and heavy green patination obscures fine surface detail, though the bust profile remains identifiable. A beaded border frames the design.
