| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed, laureate, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, rendered in the youthful Constantinian style typical of his early Caesar coinage. The laureate wreath is clearly defined, with visible beaded ties at the nape, and the cuirass displays finely engraved decorative detail at the shoulder. The portrait exhibits the characteristic close-cropped hair and sharp facial features associated with the Caesar's early effigy as struck at the Treveri mint. The obverse legend encircles the bust, reading from lower left in a continuous Latin inscription. A beaded border frames the entire design field. |
