The Latin legend GLORIA EXERCITVS is divided across the field in two segments flanking the central device. The exergue contains a dot followed by the mint and officina mark, identifying production at the Cyzicus mint. This reverse type was widely employed across multiple mints during the reigns of Constantine I's sons and is closely associated with Constantinian dynastic propaganda. |
