Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, wearing a pearl diadem with a central rosette and visible paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the late Roman imperial style, with finely detailed facial features and layered drapery. The circumferential Latin legend reads D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG, interrupted at the bust truncation, identifying the emperor as Our Lord Constantius II, Pious and Fortunate Augustus.
