| Obverse description | Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial portrait style. The emperor's effigy displays a string of pearls forming the diadem, with the paludamentum (military cloak) visible over the cuirass. The Latin legend DN CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Constantius Pius Felix Augustus) runs around the periphery, broken across the field. A beaded border frames the design. |
