| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two helmeted, draped, and cuirassed soldiers stand facing one another in a heraldic composition, each holding a reversed spear in the outer hand while resting the inner hand upon a grounded shield. Between the two figures rise two military standards, a type emblematic of the GLORIA EXERCITVS ('Glory of the Army') series issued under Constantine and his successors. The reverse legend GLORIA EXERCITVS encircles the design, and a mintmark appears in the exergue identifying the issuing officina. A beaded border frames the field. |
