Reverse description Moneta, the personification of the mint, stands facing left in long robes, her right hand extended holding a pair of scales and her left hand holding a cornucopia, emblems of monetary abundance and equity. The figure is rendered in the standard Tetrarchic convention for this widely issued Sacra Moneta type. The surrounding legend SAC MON VRB AVGG ET CAESS NN proclaims the sanctity of the coinage struck in the name of the Augusti and Caesars. The mint mark R-crescent-T appears in the exergue, identifying this as the product of the third officina of the Rome mint. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design.
