| Obverse lettering | DIVO CONSTANTIO PIO PRINCIPI (Translation: To the divine Constantius, pious prince.) |
| Reverse description | A radiate, mural-crowned figure of Roma or Constantinopolis stands facing, rendered frontally in a stiff, hieratic style, holding a sceptre or spear in the right hand and a globe or additional attribute in the left. The figure is depicted in full military or regal dress, with the radiate crown prominently displayed above the head. The surrounding legend REQVIES OPTIMORVM MERITORVM encircles the design, proclaiming the well-deserved repose granted to men of great merit. The mint mark SIS appears in the exergue, identifying the Siscia mint as the place of striking. The overall composition reflects the formal commemorative iconography employed on posthumous consecratio issues of the Constantinian dynasty. |
