| Descrizione del dritto | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius Gallus facing right, portrayed as Caesar in the late Roman military style. The effigy displays finely rendered layered pauldrons over the cuirass, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend DN FL CL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES runs clockwise around the periphery, separated from the portrait by a plain inner border. The portrait conveys the youthful physiognomy characteristic of Gallus's Caesarship coinage from the Cyzicus mint. |
