| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped bust of Constantine II (Caesar) facing left, with the youthful prince depicted holding a Victory statuette on a globe in his right hand and a mappa in his left, conveying his imperial dignity and dynastic status. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the subject as Caesar and heir to the Constantinian dynasty. The portraiture reflects the refined late Tetrarchic and early Constantinian workshop style characteristic of the Thessalonica mint. The drapery is rendered with careful detail, consistent with official imperial portraiture of the period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | An inscribed military vexillum standard, bearing the legend VOT XX, stands centrally, flanked on either side by a seated captive barbarian rendered in a posture of defeat and subjugation, symbolising Roman military supremacy. A Chi-Rho christogram (☧) appears in the left field, reflecting Constantine I’s Christian iconography introduced following the Battle of Milvian Bridge. The reverse legend VIRTVS EXERCIT is divided on either side of the standard, celebrating the valour of the Roman army. The exergue contains the mintmark of the Thessalonica mint, comprising dots flanking the officina letter, with the second officina (TSB) identified. The composition adheres closely to the standard VIRTVS EXERCIT type issued at multiple mints from 320 AD. |
