| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing left, rendered in a vigorous late Roman style with detailed military dress. The radiate crown projects boldly above the head, while the paludamentum and scale-pattern cuirass are rendered with fine engraving. The obverse legend arcs around the bust, identifying the subject as Constantine Junior, Noble Caesar. The portrait conveys youthful authority appropriate to a Caesar of the Constantinian dynasty. |

| Reverse description | A legionary standard (vexillum) on a tall pole occupies the center of the field, its tablet inscribed VOT / XX within a decorative border, signifying the vota for twenty years of rule. Flanking the base of the standard, two captive barbarians are seated on the ground in attitudes of submission, each turned slightly inward toward the standard. The reverse legend VIRTVS - EXERCIT is divided across the field to either side of the standard. The mint mark PLON appears in the exergue, denoting the London mint, with the officina letter preceding it. |
